Dash centre vents removal?

I was looking for some kind of idiots guide to removing the centre air vents in my mk3 clio. Don't want to break anything I don't have to.

Any help very much appreciated :S

mine just pull out, flat screwdriver slightly underneith, dont pull more than you feel necessary, actually i could be thinking of the side ones :S

I did have a bit of an attempt, but I'm afraid of marking the dash. I don't even know where to start to be honest.

Just a flat head in and they pop out the dash is quite squashy but if ur worried use a rag or wrap ur flat head in electrical tape

I used a rag already but made a very slight mark in the silver surround. I stopped while I was ahead...
