dash change

im not planning on doing this anytime soon but is it possible to put a phase 2 172 dash into a phase 1? including center console around gear stick and handbrake? thanks guys

Looks like a big job but good fun(or is that just me being sad) yes mate I was gonna get new door cards but might just paint mine,got plenty of foliatec Matthew black paint

It's not actually as big of a job as you may imagine.

Would recomend doing it. Things to remember are the hazard switch, rear demister and locking switch which Rob has covered. However im not sure how the electric window switches would go if you put ph2 door cards on. worth looking into the looms before starting the project.

If I change cards I'll still keep the phase1 pull handles and switches

Yep, keeping the ph1 handles gets around the issue.
