Dash display control from PC

Does anybody know the protocol used to talk to the dash top display and also the protocol that the steering wheel remote uses so that I may use them from a car PC

Or maybe even just the chips that they use so that I can find a datasheet or something.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hope this is some use you will have to use the control as a switch more than anything.

my car didnt have a temp sensor, could in wire one into that red plug?

(i dont have original red plug connected as this has been replaced by an autoleads stalk adaptors red plug)
