Dash lights and left side light out.

Have had a search and not really found an answer.

On the motorway (in the dark) And suddenly the dash lights went out. Made the drive home interesting. So checked the fuses and its the left side light that has fused.

Replaced fuse and all was well until I cranked the engine and it went again. I don't know if it was crank the engine or putting my foot on the brake or car in reverse but it went again straight away.

Any ideas?

Plus don't have another fuse and halfrauds didn't have any the right size!

Sorry to bump this so soon, but any ideas. Needs to get it sorted asap!

Only other thing I can think of was it was in a crash last week, front nearside panel was only bit hit, thinking it might have damaged something. Had a good look under the bonnet but I am crap with electrical stuff so f**k knows if its all alright!
