DCI Problems

  CB600FS
Have you replaced injectors or the diesel filter?

If its the diesel filter, undo the bleed screw, then pump the primer (round black oval shaped thing) until diesel comes out.

If your trying to get fuel from the rail to the injectors, crack off, and undo SLIGHTLY the pipes at the injector end, and get someone to turn the key, let it run till fuel comes out, then stop and tighten the nut

Edit - they can be a pig todo, I'm assuming you mean the 1.5 K9K engine?

Ive just had the filter out and replaced with a new one! its a 51 reg dci if thats any help.
Thanks

I wouldnt bother whenever ive changed my fuel filter just pumped the primer bulb a few times and then started. may run lumpy for a few seconds but then ok.
Never needed to bleed its a self bleeding system anyway.

DONT I REPEAT DONT do that on a DCI, they run at pressures of 300bar and above, so the last thing you wnt is a jet of diesel fuel hitting your hand at that pressure.

The system is self bleeding, just crank it for a bit it will go.
You could prime the low pressure side, one the end of the fuel pipe you will see a little plug in yellow, twist it the way the arrow says, crank it, close it off.
