dci65 soot probs :(

Cleaned the EGR valve a few weeks back and changed the fuel filter, still gettin a big black soot mark on the floor when i push the accelerator right down, I'm not sure if thats really normal :S thinkin maybe the fuel injectors want sorting, or maybe I should really put some more thought into getting a 182

Its pretty normal to have a bit off soot out the back on the k9ks. Did you just clean the EGR valve? Or the aluminium pipe aswell?

Noticed my Mums carefully driven Mazda 3 TD did this when I first drove it, stopped after a few days though. Give it some beans and it'll clean itself

I've only just started drivin her hard, i'll see how it goes while i'm doin that. I did the EGR valve about a month ago, altho by the aluminium pipe u mean the connecting one to the EGR valve? Didn't bother with that, could be worth looking into though

Yes mate, that pipe is normally the cause of the problems. I made a guide over on renault sports club about it. I will post a link in a second.
