de cat my 172

im toying with the idea of having the cat taken out of my 172 but i need to know if im gonna get any warning lights on my dash?

and if i decide to go ahead how to get rid of them without just taking the bulbs out. lol

also i know it can possibly cause an mot failure, but we have a very friendly local garage

any help appreciated

You probably will get the engine light on, mine didnt come on for months though. If you do ill buy your cat

Hasnt put my light on but some peoples come on, you can get the lights turned off by specialists

cool will have a think about it, unfortunately kyle the reason im thinking of removing it is its on its way out, its got split and cracks and its been welded a few times now.. i think its just cheaper to de-cat than the re-cat lol cheers
