There's a device you can buy from K-tec that knocks the light off. Might just be for the 172 that though, sure someone else will be along to confirm that. Or you could try disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU that works for some.
I took my instrument panel to bits and put a bit of insulating tape behind the the tubing where the light reflects up through. Best way by a far imo although the most work.
Knocking the light off only worked for a few weeks with mine and the bolt thing is a big no no. You need the bottom lambda in regardless
second lambda does nothing.. only tells you your cat may be faulty but does'nt do anything to engine-management/mixture . I've had mine tied away on my Saxo 16v decatted, was fine.
