De-cat

Im thinking about fitting a de-cat to my car, just want to know if people who have done this thinks its a worth while mod to do?

I already have the KTR Supersports stealth and i take it that fitting the de-cat will make it nosier.

I've got a super sport and decat on my 182. It's loud and drowning at motorway speeds but I just cruise at 60 and its fine. Mine has the 98 octane map too which helps apparently.. Bought it like this. But over all I'd say yes it good mod to do

Yes mate it would I have the same exhaust pipe and back box , I was going to change mine but hassle when it come to the mot, I have the a/c delete , and the car feel a lot better ,

Cheers, mines the same on the M/way without the De-cat but i put up with it as i don't drive the car very much and don't go on the M/way very often.

I use a good MOT station so i should be ok, yeah the PH1 cat is a pain to change.

It will make alot off noise!! I'm decatted but a straight pipe makes more noise than just wack the cat empty .I did this with a 2.5 inch sports cat it's a decat now.

Let me now the result apart from the noise, so far on my ph 1 , a/c delete , 438 cams , arp Conrod bolts , spax springs and dampers, power flex wish bone bush , power flex arb , power flex dog bone , and more next step jenvey itb & ecu , remap,

OOH whats the cams like mate?? i want to keep my A/C but im thinking about cams and going to get the Ktec engine mounts as im on my 2nd set of Renault ones which when the engine moves its pulling myexhaust joint apart.
You have the same bits as me Spax coilovers and bushes.

I need to know if the de cat is worth the while yet as i dont want to dog my car, im old you see......lol
