de-cats

are all de-cats pretty much the same or are some better than others? would the only difference be the build quality?

Yeh just quality of the welds etc i expect but they all do the same thing.

not to sure on this but i guess they can vary, 182 decats are basicaly a simple piece of pipe so not much can go wrong. I've got a scorpion decat and it fits fine and is well built - less than £50 on ebay too

technically, the most free flowing decat would be one that was the same pipe diameter as the exhuast system. The silenced ones are very mildly restrictive.

yes a yozzasport one, its one of the most expensive, BUT its the only one i've seen with the correct angle to it

Ive got the yoz one and it fits perfectly

yozza also, the slight angle means the rear tailpipes sit perfect without needed any alteration to your exhaust mounts.

no mate, dont see many silenced decats knocking about.

the 182 system with the twin silencers helps reduce the increase in sound. i ran decats on a few cars and they have always made a big diff but the 182 wasnt is bit an increase in sound.

the std yozza decat is fine for me mated to my btb system.
