De-chipping an ECU

As above is it possible to de-chip an ECU without ruining it.

Would de-chipping take it back to standard or will I have to have it reprogrammed.

Don’t know!

With out going into to much detail I asked for a group n ecu a while back and ended up with a chipped ecu.

I’m sure its chipped as you can see that the tabs have been levered open and the seal has come away.
