de-icer for the whole car?

I might be just dreaming but is there a product that repels against snow? Like a shampoo that has a de-icer in it? Would save so much time in the mornings before work!!

Get a remote start for your motor and make sure the heating controls are set to max when you park it up the night before.

iirc you can get product which you spray on the windscreen at night, and it stops it freezing/ice forming.

Yep. It's like a load of man fat stuck to your window in the morning, used it once, never again.

Just get an ice cover and whack it in a bin bag in your boot when you take it off.

Put a towel on windscreen night before.

In morning pull frozen towel off, voila, clear windscreen!

Or when you wake up head outside and start car up (depending on area you live in) and ten minutes later car has a clear windscreen and is warm inside.

funny as it sounds i have my cars pointing towards the house on the drive, the heat from the house keeps my screens clear (bonnet is literally 1.5 feet away from lounge wall. im not responsible for melting ice caps etc)

Used to miss my old gold Clio with remote start and de handled doors

When i got in at night, Leave heating on windscreen set to highest, Activate remote start. Wake up in morning, Press remote start to Start car from bedroom, Get ready for work, Walk out door, And car has cleared windscreen, Plip the door open, Change the vents to face me and be warm from the second i get in the car

Now i have to de icer and ice scrape at 5am every morning

As far as I'm aware, the Viper alarm systems have remote start with them which are circa £200..
If anyone has a decent solution such as some decent wax or something! haha (in my dreams) then i'll be impressed!
