dead speedo and trip computer

I got a ph2 172. My speedo and trip computer has stopped working. they might work for a few minutes but then they stop working again, anyone know what the reasons could be? does the UCH control them both? Ive had problems a few months ago with my UCH and had it replaced twice just after christmas.

On the top of the dahboard take the dash top of and you'll see it in the center of the car and one near the top of the dash from memory.

I had my dash off yesterday and the earth was tightly scewed down

My rev counter stopped working for a day or so and then started working again.
Yours might be the same. Ive had a bit of this, stuff fixing itself.
Must be a french thing

Nah iy aint getting better, its even worse now. they wont work at all now. only good thing is that because my trip computer isnt working, my milage isnt going up when im driving. lol
