I have a couple of little rust bubbles on my car door, right on the edge. I have the correct touch-up paint but is there a right way to prep and apply it?
I'm guessing I somehow scrape the rust off and then apply the paint?
The car is a 52 plate. The pannel has never been replaced. The rust is located on the edge on the door at the front where the door meets the front quater.
I had a mk1 while i was learning to drive, cleaned it up and sold it the week after i passed my driving test. For the tiny spots of rust, i got some Farecla G3 on a cloth and cleaned it back to the bare metal then wacked on some tippex was a white car obviously.
You could get a touch up set from renault though that would be your best bet.
