Debadge + Rebadge help and advice

hi guys

right i'm gonna take off my original badges on the boot of my 172 and spray them gunmetal grey to match the 182 wheels i'm away to get

however what do i use to replace the badge? like what sticky stuff do i put it back on with?

i am wondering if i'd be better gettin a new badge from renault and jus sprayin that but they'll be like 40quid prob by the time i order them all.

also does anyone know the measurements so i can put my renault sport badges back on exactly where they came off? may just leave them off...not sure tho

double sided 1mm thick!

you put them back on with double sided foam tape.

you put a couple of strips down the back, then use a stanley blade to cut around all the letters so you dont see any tape when its put on

sit on your arse job, takes a while

shitter of a job mate! used to do it all the time.
clio one is held on the with two clips so just pops off and i would buy a new style ren sport badge save any of the taping nonsense.
badges old style arent that expensive and get it off the bay so much cheaper than ren.

i've struggled picking at it with various tools from the inside so i dont damage the paint

anyone know how to remove this?

Once you get the full surround off the car pick at the glue with a combi of a knive and flat head screwdriver.

Use either superglue etc or some clear silicone to stick it back on

i cant get the full surround off tho the big silver dianond is all i want off and i cant get it off

Wondered this myself, sprayed a set of rear badges and bullets in anthracite to go on mine.

removed the sport badge, looks good saying just renault and clio.

the sport looks too 'halfords' for me tbh. i know it's propper renault but still.

found the guide to remove the rear boot lock, shall do it on a day i can make sure it'll be back on my the evening and make sure the car's in a garage.
