decat 1.2 16v ?

.if i decat my mk2 ph2 53plate clio its only a 1.2 16v will it make much difference
i been told it will be faster but sh*t on mpg ???? true??
and how much louder as my exhaust is loud as it is ???
and also where to get a de-cat pipe from !

it'll be louder, but no faster. Adding a ClioSport.net sticker is worth at least 40bhp atw though.

Whats the point? It wont pass MOT without the cat unless you know some way round that. Most cats dont make that mcuh difference on power especially on a small engine. Leave it as it is and fit a catback performance system.
