Decat on standard exhaust ?

I'm thinking about decating my standard exhaust but not sure what ones fit it?

I like the idea of standard exhaust but a little extra noise

Ahh okay I did have the feeling a scorpion would fit. I'm thinking also removing the rear silencer on it too

Will they fit a standard 172 system?

The above decats wont but you can get a decat to fit a 172

Made near enough no difference to noise on my 182 when I had a standard system and Scorpion De-cat.

Hmm from experience before it made my cars more boomy, then with a decat make it a bit raspy

Had a 1.8l corsa C (z18xe) with straight through pipe, standard backbox, de-cat and 4-2-1 manifold and it was ridiculously tinny and high pitched. Although probably irrelevant as its a completely different car.

To be honeest, I did think about it at one point. Just bought myself a milltek, teamed with a scorpion decat, it sounds incredible! absolutely love it. Just need a Milltek decat now as its 2.5" just like the exhaust system.

So the ebay one will fit a standard 182? and can be removed after use with out any mods ?

easy to fit or royal pain in the butt butt?
