not really much you can do power wise to be honest. just a remap should smooth the power out a little along with matched inlets and a decat if you must.
the only way you can get decent power from them is spending over a grand and getting cams or jms rs2 inlet. or for serious power you are looking at a lot of money for turbo, supercharger etc.
i would just get some decent tyres and brakes on there if you haven't already. then little things like a pannel filter, rs tuner, sportline springs and thats about it.
so do you reckon the de cat is a good idea for power or more just for the sound matiee?
insurance is still void if found out tho. its a risk and to me the gains are not worth it. i have done away with the silencer section on mine and it sounds much better wouldnt have thought its added any HP tho.depends if you declare it or not, sky insurance on here have mine declared so im covered, the mod is not actually illegal but it wont pass a mot test so its not technically road legal if you get tested, if you do get road side teste (vosa who 99% time do lorrys) it will more than likely just be a producer as well to say get your car retested.
decat wise they make the car sound fantastic and i personally felt although it didn't feel faster it rev-ed easier at the topend. although it has gained a flat spot at around 3k rpm-3.5k rpm. will need a remap for most benifits.
