Decent point & shoot camera?

Need a new camera, and with my 21'st coming up thought it could be a group present from some of my family.

I wouldnt use any settings etc, just want a decent sturdy camera that will take a few decent pictures basically.

So, any suggestions?!

Just researched this as I was after one for gf's xmas present.

Ended up going for a Panasonic TZ-7- not seen a bad review on it. Can be had for about £230. I went with Camerabox and got a bundle (case, mem card etc) for £245.

Arrived last week. Sorely tempted to have a play with it but really can't as its a xmas pressie!
