Dell Vista upgrade

My laptop came with a free upgrade to vista. It's a c2d 2.1ghz with 2gb ram and 7900gs graphics card.

My Vista upgrade disc arrived this morning and i'm unsure if I should upgrade straight away or not?

Has anyone else upgraded to vista? More specifically on a dell laptop?

I wouldn't personally. XP is much better at the moment.

I've got Vista installed on my new desktop, I would wait and stick with XP, I'm probably going to XP in a week or two.

I'm running Vista on my laptop and the mobility centre and power saving advances over XP are worthy of the upgrade alone.

I'm having huge problems playing games, it doesn't like my DVB tuner/software either.

i bought my laptop at the end of jan and am still waiting for my upgrade CD to come

Mine only arrived today. Bought the laptop end of November and applied for the upgrade in end of January.

Are there any issues using older programs under Vista? Mainly Autocad 2006, Office, Photoshop CS2 and dreamweaver.

I'm running CS2 and Dreamweaver without any problems.
