Denison ipod equivalent needed

just sent my denison ipod lead back as i found it to be shite.

i want an alternative that doesnt distort, that i can operate my ipod from my ipod, none of this shitty playlist bullshit.


any ideas?

ive got the deison ipod connector i use from the stalk and ive never had it distort it worked perfect for me

must admit couldnt operate from the ipod when plugged in but its easier to use from the steering wheel stalk and its illegal to play with the ipod whilst drivin

not being funny but if you ipods full,and you have only 6 playlists to piss about with, u might as well have a CD changer!

i pissed about with itunes and my ipod to stop it distorting and it wont so i sent it back!

thats weird as im running 10 playlists nicely on mine without any problems

Harry_manback, did you set the sound level to less than 4V? My Dension distorts sounds but only when in the 4V setting

For everyones info, as manji says, if you have a v4 Ice>Link Plus then you need to upgrade to v4-4.15 of the firmware and reduce your audio level in the config down from the default 4v.

Additionally, the user guide describes changing through playlists and albums in iPod user interface mode by selecting certain disc numbers and using FF/RW.

Disc#2 - Change random/repeat modes
Disc#3 - Change playlists
Disc#4 - Change chapters
Disc#5 - Change albums

For my unit I find that Disc#2 FF/RW changes the playlists and 3,4,5 have no function.

see, if the company has been any good, i would of kept my kit, i didnt get any instructions with it, they didnt respond to my questions, so i sent it back
a week went by then i got an email telling me that an upgrade was available.
too late.
it took another week to confirm that they had recieved it back.
a very slack service!
