Dephaser needed? (video)

After looking through various threads on the dephaser problems i still havent come to a conclusion if mine is on the way out and needs replacing, in the video this is the engine cold and theres a slight squeaking sound now and then.

Sounds like bearing rather than the dephaser. Original water pump?

Is it something to worry about, ie need sorting soon? Ive had a look through the history and cannot find a receipt for the water pump so i guess so.

Mine made a very similar noise to that and it turned out to be the waterpump that had failed!

Thanks for all of the replies appreciate it, not replacing the waterpump what will happen although I will do so soon enough

Most likely start to leak , worst case scenario cease up and strip the aux belt.

Remember the waterpump is run off the auxiliary belt and not the timing belt, pretty cheap fix tbh

Been to Renspec today and they had a quick look, said it was nothing. Me just being paranoid! Cheers guys
