  Clio 182 FF
My 182 got diagnosed with a f***ed dephaser pulley today and have been quoted a grand for the work by Renault.

I'm not paying there stupid labour prices so can anyone point me in the right derection to a garage that can do this work for me at a decent price?

I do live in west Wales so the closer the better.

No idea where Aberystwyth is in Wales. But if it's North, go to Birchdown. If it's south, go to Rentech.

Both a bit of a drive. But both are great. Pay the money and get it done by someone trustworthy is the most important thing.

Speak to the guys at Birchdown 01948 860 335 they seem the closest to you (90 odd miles)

They'll be able to beat whatever Renault quoted you massively.

Aberystwyth is west coast mid wales.

Well worth the 3 hour drive to have Fred do the work though!

Worth getting the cambelt done at the same time mate, I think all in is around £550-£600 with someone like Fred - near half what Renualt would charge and you get to watch the man at work, whic his like Voodoo - how he does it il never know lol

Quite expensive even for Renault. Pre tax hike some 16 months back i got the dephaser / aux and cam belts as well as replacing cams for roughly £750
