Paul thanks for your help last night considering you had already done it 3 times! I didn't realise until after that Conor guy (who is mates with Lee/Dixie) hadn't even completed hard oryx before that, so he must have been buzzing with all the stuff he would have got!

Mark/Cookie I'm not on tonight but back Saturday if you want to run it then again? Want to do a fresh run as still looking for a better ghost.

We got it done last night with a guy who had never finished hard on oryx (just regular).
Personally I quite like this new strategy and might run it from now on.

I got talked into doing another nightfall last night. I got a rubbish legendary fusion rifle (scrapped) and 1 strange coin. It's laughable how poor the rewards are!

If you look at my main titan now, all I need is a better chest (currently 316) and ghost (currently 315) to get to 320. Of course this is all meaningless and I expect in the next couple of months 330 will be out and the grind would all have been a waste of time!

I seem to be utterly incapable of getting strange coins. This weeks I have managed to get a total of 8!!

Driving me nuts. Never get any when cut comes around so I miss out.

So I've spent the night banging my head against a wall, using Destiny LFG. Managed to get all the way to the end of the Oryx challenge, only for someone to go to the wrong set of orbs and wipe us.

Pretty much done with this game tbh!

Last night was s**t. Started with a group at Oryx, took ages. Then went with Larry (Best) into a new raid (well, Totems) and he ended up leaving and playing Fallout 4 because the 2 people on his side kept dying - it was as if they didn't understand how it worked. I got to the Exotic chest and then left.

Just used 5 three of coins over 5 races on SRL. Got Invective, Empyrean Bellicose and Peregrine Greaves.

Definitely the easiest way to get exotics.

Just got 2 exotics from one coin. Shame they were both hunter armour....I don't run a hunter.

I only get angry if I spend ages doing something and don't complete it. I did it on all 3 chars in the end but can help tonight if you want.

You got it done in the end last night then? Sorry I didn't come on, I'm so ill I think I'd actually pass it on through my headphones! I held out until 10.30pm or so and then went to bed.

Yeah - joined one team who all claimed they had done it but blatantly hadn't. Best left and found a really good group and we did it third go. Should have done it first go but one of the titans went to the wrong orbs to detonate!

Feel a lot more confident with my hunter now though anyway after last night. My malice is now 318 but stopped short of using my second 320 weapon. To be honest i infused badly all because I wanted to keep my 319 pulse with firefly but now have that, a 320 pulse without and 318 malice - and burnt a 320 scout. Bit silly of me!

Yeah I'll help! Not sure what time I'll be on though. The technique is just to hammer him with swords in titan bubbles until he is dead then work around the perimeter killing the blights and ads.

I got off at about 2am. Not sure why, Larry invited me and as it was only 10pm I thought I'd join in. I felt like s**t as well, in retrospect I shouldn't have bothered!

Was Jack getting frustrated at the end? He often lets his feelings be known!
How close did you get with Oryx? Marner hasn't done it before but not a bad player. Highborn smokes too much and has difficulty with sets of complex instructions!

We didn't get very far with Oryx, Highborn was actually fine in Oryx too. Marner kicked off at Rupert at Totems, seconds before you joined the party, and Jack didn't seem to get frustrated. Mind you, I was struggling as I was ill and tired so wasn't paying a huge amount of attention really!

I need the gear from the whole raid, I'm sort of stuck at 315-318 across my characters

To be honest though, does it matter? I would like to get to 320 but unless I get lucky with a 320 ghost then it's not happening - and as I've done the hard raid now probably 20 times or so, it's getting quite tedious doing totems just to get moldering shards or whatever.
Tonight I reckon we should get to totems, get the checkpoints on other 2 characters, then do totems/war priest (ad maybe golgoroth) 3 times then have the rest of the week to do the rest of the raid. With xmas time is limited so all about maximising benefit vs rewards!

I'm at 317 and honestly quite happy with the gear I have. I only really want to get more primaries so I can boost my MIDA. The rest doesn't really matter to me. This is the furthest I've got in terms of the high end Destiny stuff, never got anywhere near in vanilla or the other expansions

It just annoys me so much if you fail it you have to do the whole thing again. If you get the ship I'll be even more upset!

No, just the Legendary, it's either 307 or 312... I can't abide by PvP so haven't done the quest for the exotic...

You need to get the exotic swords they are bad! you only need 25 kills per sword, pretty easy! Just do it in Mayhem.
Yes kids are bloody annoying. I now just add any semi competent LFG players to my friends list because a lot of the people I used to play with have stopped.
