I’ve just bought a 197 that felt very flat, reading the codes i get the usual sensor ones for it being decat and DF080 open circuit. I changed the cam solenoid and the connector was old and had a loose wire so I changed the connector.
This did nothing to get rid of the code (i was clearing it each time and it would come back) but the code did change from open circuit to phaser position error, i’ve checked continuity from the connector to the ecu, all good.
I’m genuinely at a dead end, everything that could be changed and checked from solenoid to ecu i’ve done.
Anyone have any ideas?
