Dial up thing doing my head in!

Not sure what I've done, come home for hols and my rents use AOL, so I've got rid of that and connect diretly using windows software... now everytime something loads a Dial-Up connect box appears and dissapears, constantly! doing my nut in and keeps crashing MSN.. It's not in the connectins folder but if I try and tamper it seems to cut things off..

hmmm no idea, i do what you do Pete with the not using aol 9.0. like hte guide you put up. never had that problem. maybe do a system restore and go form ther? or remove all the connections and start a fresh again?

good idea, got my uni connection etc there clogging it all up!

How painful is it doing the Aol step by step install! never again!

yeah you can't even skip it. i tihnk i inkow where everytihng plugs in now.....

I have found that on occasions AOL 9.0 crashed leaving my bb connection screwed. I used to have to uninstall and reinstall every few months... absolute shite. fixed the prob though.

I also found unplugging the usb form the comp for a few minutes then plugging it back in also used to sort out any issues i had. weird really.
