diamondbrited wheels

has ne1 used diamondbrite on there wheels to protect them. mine are currently getting powder coated do you think i should put diamond brite on them before i put them back on the car for a bit of protection? has ne1 done this?

suppose it would work but they will still need cleaning. Its like taking them off waxing them then putting them back on. Brake dust will still get on them
