That's what I thought
I liked slammed cars to an extent but I don't want to have to live with one :rasp: I have been browsing and I want some ph2 side strips now

Bit of a pain but nothing undo able. So long as you get all the old lacquer off and scratch the paint a bit it's fine. I used 120 grit I think then went over it with 800
TBH its harder to spray the inside of the handles because you end up putting too much on the thing in general.
Very thin coats about 5 is needed.

I guess I'll see what condition my handles are in when i get them tmrw, I have little patience with thin coats, but I guess that'll have to change.
120 - 500 - 800 is my preference, gotta hate getting 120 wet though, it always breaks apart

Nah they do lazer tracking but they don't have the tools for camber / castor / toe
Shame as I would quite like to try it myself, looks easy from the videos. What's ideal camber ?
positive 1 ? as when someone is in the car it will go towords negative anyway wont it ?

Started on my grab handles tonight, sanded ready for primer tmrw, hope mine turn out as nice as yours.

Cheers for the advise, coat 1, too thick, serious runnage, fail. After that things went well (see my project thread)

had the coils professionally set up today at RS murray's in Leeds.
Literally 100 times better, still no roll nice sharp turn in feels much more planted. Will test them again properly at the weekend but I love them
Got home and my window cables and plastic replacement runner had been delivered (Just before the strike !) so me & my dad fitted that, (Couldn't have done it without him it was really fiddly and a pain in the arse, I would just have got annoyed after 20 mins)
So now my passenger window works again, but it's still a little slow when going up. If it breaks it's off to Renault for a proper fix...
I need paying so I can invest in

Blue LED interior conversion (Every car I have ever owned has had orange dash and I'm sick of it)
Wheels powder coating (High power silver or a very light gunmetal ?)
Brembo discs + mintex or ferrodo pads + braided lines.
New front (Reclining) seats (eventually)
Track days

Hutchie that picture didn't show it very well.. The top of the wheel was sticking out a lot further than the bottom, it looked broken :rasp: ..... Like yours.

7ish degree's of camber, handles better like this than the coilies so meh

I just had an interesting moment on a roundabout :rasp:
flexed my toe a little too much and it started heading straight forwards towards the kerb, so I lifted off and the back came out.
Nearly shat myself ! Roads are very very slippy in Leeds tonight

Car started making an odd noise on the way home tonight, grinding/knocking under acceleration.
Quickest diagnosed car fault in history, opened the bonnet ready to check gearbox mount driveshafts etc dreading it...
Upper engine mount is shagged, hard to change ? how much for a new one ? worth going for the KTEC uprated one or no ?
