Oh and can I drive it like this or will I break something ? It's deffs the mount and I've stuffed the piece of rubber back in and the noise is gone but I'm guessing this wont hold.

I've been through 2 now. Theres usually some on ebay but ive just had a look and cant find any.

Try get a kangoo 1.9d mount like I did last time - fits the 172 and i think its a firmer rubber.

Changing is a piece of piss.

Trolley jack under the sump with a bit of wood to hold the enging up, undo the 4 bolts on the car side, and the 2 or 3 on the cam cover on the car side, and replace with the new.

Job done.

Just got a mount from GSF, £49, gits. Will have a pop at fitting it tonight in the dark when I'm home from hell.

The rubber from the back has completely come off and worked its way to the side of the mount !

Sorted, I rang Renault and turns out that mount I've been given is from a Renault Kangoo 1.5D

It fit fine though and the car feels better than before it broke so much tighter feeling. The old mount had actually snapped underneath too so was utterly fubar.

Love them mate, ride isn't too much stiffer and they handle brilliant. Can't go wrong for the price in my eyes.

Went to RST in Leeds with Tom (hai) to the meet thing yesterday, car ran 157bhp ATF which is average. I'm hoping this will improve with new sparks the cambelt being changed and a new exhaust as my car is standard bar an ITG panel filter.

Today (Sunday) I set about banishing the red calipers with "Clio" decals. Silver paint was in order.
I also lowered the front a little more (only a small ammount) as one side was higher than the other but I think it made a lot of difference.
Finally I fitted my newly sprayed Ph2 side strips. I was going to wash it but it was dark by the time I had finished !

Having an inner battle over ordering a OMP wheel after seeing how mint Toms was.
£150 bugger me this car is going to bankrupt me.
