Right as I was waiting for a part to arrive today I thought I’d do something productive. That something productive turned out to be pay the Toledo’s paintwork some proper attention other than just throwing some lovely potions at it.
I’d been bloody craving a detail of some kind anyway so I was pretty much in my element. Happy as a pig in sh*t.
Considering the paint hadn’t seen a machine in well over a year my washing and drying techniques are obviously as they should as the paint was pretty damn good. Minor minor swirls and a few deep scratches from idiots who seem to feel the need to walk themselves or the things they have with down the side of the car.
I was going to go down the Auto Finesse Triple route but decided I had enough time to go Menz 2500 followed by Menz 4000. Started at 8am this morning and got in….late. Knackered.
Anyhoo…..
Not too dirty even though it was before Christmas it was shown a frothy mitt..

I’m not bothering with pre wash anymore. I’ll stick with just a heavy hit of Valet Pro foam with a bit AF lather in it….

Finished off then crack on with the machine. No 50/50s as the camera wasn’t picking anything up. The feel and shine however I am really happy with. Damn I love a bit of super slick paintwork!
