Did track day, now have hard brake pedal

Hi,

I did a track day at Blyton which is a track that's hard on brakes but mine performed well.

I always let them cool down for a lap or two. I've got cheap pagid pads on brembo disks and racing blue fluid.

After the track day I noticed the pedal doesn't move very far too get maximum braking force and I've lost most of the feel. They feel almost like an on/off switch.

Does anybody have any idea what would cause this and how I could fix it please?

Thanks in advance.

Cant imagine bleeding helping, as any air in the system would have the opposite effect.
Could be glazed pads. Did you bed them in well before tracking it?
Most likely down to you own admittance - cheap pads.

I'm thinking pads too, I'll admit I've been lazy and haven't checked them. I'll change them for some more track oriented ones and update the thread in case it helps anyone else

Have you thought about the servo pipe being split? That would cause hard brake pedal. And not much assistance. Try pumping pedal and hold lots of pressure on then turn engine on while holding pedal. If it doesn't move much then it'll be servo or servo pipe.
