Diesel Fuel pump

having a little trouble Fuel pump isn't sucking at all. If I took the stop/start valve out would you expect fuel to piss out of the hole ??

what normally goes on pumps. Do they open up ?
Also I was thinking just put the garages air lines onto the bleed nut and blow 200 PSI into it

There was a blockage in-between the Fuel line in and the bleed nut.
So put 200 PSI of air into the fuel line and yaya UN-blocked
