diesel preheating/electronic fault warning light

This light just came on, i limped the car home as it wouldnt rev and throttle response was lacking somewhat.

Now ive done a search on here and people are saying it will just clear itself, it could be the lambda sensor, the tps, potentiometer ??


Anyone else had this on a 172 and what caused it??

Im wondering if the snap-on diagnosis software will pick the fault up directly?

Snap - on diagnostic tool says

98 - pedal position senesor
208 - throttle potentiometer

so i took the throttle housing of, washed this out left to soak and gave a good blow out and the problem has gone. All errors have gone and 60 miles later she seems fine.

However the car now idles around 2k revs any ideas on that?

Im guessing its still to do with the fly by wire setup

Im guessing its the potentiometer,

does matt black still break the clios? if so whats his number?
