Diff circlip problem

My diff circlip has gone for the 3rd time in as many weeks
1st attempt 2 weeks
2nd attempt 2 days
3rd attempt 10ft

new circlip and spacer have been used everytime and racing box oil the first time.

had a few people saying various things
1. recess is worn, new diff, weld it (knackers the box?), try some supersteel to compensate for the wear.
2. excesive driveshaft play, replace the whole driveshaft
3. excesive driveshaft play replace the bearings on the driveshaft

can anyone shed any light on it?
I do have a new box and group N clutch that could go in but i havnt got anywhere to do it myself, so it would be an expensive job.

Its a mk1 1.2 with a 16v engine, box, shafts, hubs etc etc

it nearly 100% better to swap the box...once they pop there like pringles they cant stop

u can get a new box for next to nothing, easy peasy to change aswel

would it be wise to change the driveshaft aswell?
or just the bearing.

I welded mine in on my 172. No problems, never came out again!
