Difference between a Dci65/80/100

  Clio Dynamique Dci65
Hi guys, new to the forum.
Got a Clio Dynamique diesel Dci65 (2003).
I'd like to find out the differences between my car and the 80 or 100 bhp models, and what's involved in upgrading?
Is it just a case of swapping the engine management chip from a Dci80?
Or is that too easy?
Thanks.

  dCi 100
No.

The dci65 is more or less the same as the dci80, but has no Intercooler and the turbo puts out less boost, although it's the same turbo.

The dci100 has a different turbo, injectors, intercooler, clutch, gearbox, etc, etc

Please visit www.dcioffice.net for more info.

Cheers!

The 80 has an intercooler (FMIC) bigger injectors, different gearbox (JC5 instead of JB3) also differetn mapping turbso is the same 0.1 bar more boost and differetn actuator but nothing majour.

100 has stronger bottom end bigger connecting rods bearings etc different injectoes 1600 bar bump differetn turbo differetn FMIC intercooler which is more efficient at cooling also different gearbox (IMO its terrible)

Thanks for the advice..................
Anywhere recommended for re-mapping, and what should it cost?

Pmurry on here does remapping for a decient price and IMo in the country there not much choice I don't rate superchips that hightly but it has a good warently etc.

Is the JC5 gearbox better than the JB3 ??? I'm thinking max torque ...

  Meg on pistonheads £6995
re-map will give you.........

68 - 88bhp and about 30lb/ft torque extra

go for a K&N panel filter as well (about £35) - makes it rev so much easier!

mine was wheezy at 3800, as good as dead by 4500 pre filter

revved to 4700 no effort after, will even hit 5K limiter if cruel

P.S: I had a re-map at Superchips HQ £460 and asked for 'extra' from 3800 due to improved breathing with filter.

P.P.S: mine is 80 to 110

mine was given 'extra' fuelling between 3800 and 5000

bit smoky top end revs, but shifts!
