I Spoke to the Duck at the meet yesterday and if i remember correctly, a FF all of the gadgets you want, what therfore is the difference between a R27 and a FF 197?

A FF 192 has recaro's, do you know what they R27 has?

Yes yes, what im saying is if you got a 197 and made it FF (Cup pack, Recaro's..the lot) Would there actually be any differenece between it and a R27 apart from the fact its an R27??

Also, how much were they new, there is an R27 on AT for £15,990 with 5,000 on the clock.
Although its low miles and it's from a Renault dealer i would assume its around 19K new for this price to be right??

I think they were around the £16k mark brand spanker but Im not sure. LY is only R27s though so they'll fetch a higher price however You would easily get a ff 197 from a dealer for that price if you go through www.renaulsport.co.uk forums. Speak to David Cooper IIRC from warrington arnold clarke he sorted me out

Good questions raised in here that I was wondering myself. I've been down the local stealers and sat in a 197 in white with the black non-multispoke wheels. I have to say, although it didn't have Recaros, I was impressed. The driving position is the first thing you notice, and I never had an issue with my 182. I think next year it will definitely be on my shortlist (along with an R26 Megane, R32 Golf, old M3 etc etc)

+1 R27 best version to have, pretty much everything came as standard! +in this combo, very exclusive!!
Except f/mirrors, Climate/C, Xenons. Other than LY thats about it i think (racks brain from when i bought my R27:S)

LY is too girly, IMO... i've always said it.

Its a bit odd also that a R27 with 5,000 on the clock is 16K where as a R26 with similar miles are going for around 12K.
What options did he have? Was that on finance?
'Cash Price' for my cup was about £15k, but I had recaros, aircon, glacier white, cup spoiler, so about £2k of options.
I could have got it for less if I had actually paid cash, but I had it on finance and am paying very little, and so by the end of my finance I will have paid less for it than the list price including all the options, so pretty good deal
There are only 500 R27's mate...dunno how man R26's there are as they weren't made in limited numbers....market is flooded with them..

Well I am actively hunting for a 197 in glacier white. At dealers I have been offered a brand new cup with AC and Speedlines £13800 otr If I would have wanted Recaros I would have got a discount on the £850. I have seen on auto trader today a 08 reg 197 FF with cup pack and climate at 9500 miles for £12500 at a main dealer. Also I found a 08 reg red 197 ff with 300 miles on the clock with recaros, climate and cup pack for £13000. So there are plenty of good offers out there.
I however with the current climate am going to cool off hunting for a few months and save more moohlah as I reckon prices will tumble some more.

There is a Glacier White Cup at Inchcape in Southampton, with Recaros, air con and black speedlines in stock and ready to go. I saw this advertised on the Renaultsport forum's dealer section. Should be a competitive price too.
