Differences between willy and 16v gearbox

The Willy one is based on a 19 TD box, which was designed to handle more torque. The Willy one has shorter ratios, up until 5th, which is longer AFAIK.

doesnt the willy box have uprated baffles to prevent oil surge?

willy box has bigger bearings think it does have uprated baffles too

id say first is longer in a valver box second and 3rd are about the same and fourth an fifth are longer in the willy box
