I'm sure I read on here a thread about it once but cannot find it now.

I know theres a few different ones (tuner list, auditorium, etc) but what is the difference between them all and what is the best one to have? Do certain things only work on certain ones, ie: cd changer, tunepoints, etc.

Thanks, Mark.

If you have a Tuner List then you can only get another Tuner List, same with Update List.

Other than that you can swap between Cabasse and not. Not sure there's a noticeable difference in sound quality, as soon as you add a headunit with a decent onboard amp (or indeed a headunit with pre-outs and a separate amp) you'll notice a huge difference in sound quality.

As Jeff says that's it really. If you try and swap tuner for update you lose the dash display and some of the functions iirc

Cabasse Auditorium is the best standard one, although they still sound very poor compared to almost all aftermarket head units.

Auto-reverse cassette with Dolby B. Mix tapes FTW. :)
