different tyre widths

Hi all

If ive got a set of alloys which have bald tyres on, which are 195/55/15, can I put my good 185/55/15 tyres on instead? Or would the width not allow it??

We'd need to know the spec of the wheel.

If they already have 195/55/15 on then I can't see there being any issues fitting a slimmer tyre.

I'd fit them if you already have some. Probably fit better. If the wheel is 7" or more wide then I wouldn't though

thought 185/55/15 was the original renault size for non sports rather than 195/55/15?

as above we need to know the wheels specs

guess you could fit them but If the tyre is too thin the rim will stick out and it will look shite

it terms of fitting and working, yes they will I would of thought, very unlikely they wouldn't
