Digital Temp Display

Recently when I get in and start my car the digital temp display goes to -31 degrees and starts flashing every second or so, very off putting when driving and a little worrying. Has anyone else had this and why and how do I fix it ???

Thanks !

it flashes wen it gets below 3 degrees or summet to warn u about ice.

dont kno why its goin that low tho, must be a duff sensor under the passenger door mirror possibly

Ok cheers, is this hard/expensive ? Would folding the mirrors in of effected it as Ive just moved to a narrow road and have to do this to my mirrors every night, just a thought ? Certainly wasnt -31 the other night !!

it happened to me when i had dash off, turned out to be loose wire but when puttin it back in i knocked another out now it dont light up DOH, could some1 pls get me a pic of the connector showin where each wire goes or post it here thanx

  Not a Clio

might have come loose in the door, pop the cover off the mirror part, undo the screws, pull the wiring up... think the temp sensor wiring is clipped just inside the door, you should be able to see it....

mine read -31 and flashed when i forgot to reconnect it
