Some cars came with factory fitted kits on them, the majority were fitted afterwards though, having said that, they are very rare.Am I right in thinking there were some uber special ones from the factory with a dimma kit and some sort of modified engine?
then people started buying the dimma kit to fix onto thier mark one's?
bit like the V6 kit these days lol
The proper steel/ali dimma kits were cool in the 90's. They also offered turbo conversions. They cost a fortune. Sadly replica kits came out and there were lots of bodged attempts out there.
Similar to V6 replicas now.
Never heard that before. Never seen a dimma rally car at all.werent dimma kits fitted mainly to rally cars to offer wide track axles. same as the v6 and r5 turbo
