Dipstick tube broken off

  182, SQ7, Trafic
So after putting some new oil in yesterday and doing a change all was good!

Later on I noticed the bottom of the sump was a bit wet but not dripping off so wasn't too worried, checked oil and it was reading fine, little bit later on checked again and the tube come off!

So I blocked the hole and filled up! I've got a couple of spare engines here but I can't see how the dipstick comes off properly or would even fit on?

Only thing I can think of is a plastic tube that fits inside the block and the tube?!

Any help would be great! Thank you!

use an extractor to pull the remaining bit of tube out (i've had to do it to an F7P). On the spare block, you'll have to use a drift to tap out the tube from underneath

what i mean is, there's no separate part, just tap it into the hole (light smear of sealer to be 100% oil tight)

The dipstick holder or a little plastic tube to fit it to the block? The holder will not fit in the engine.

*sorry, it's early, I'm tired and probably being thick!

Oh?! The end at the bottom of the tube is flared outwards though? I'm guess its once piece that is then wider at the bottom and it's snapped clean off?
