Directline discount....

Some of you may already know this, but if you get your insurance through Direct Line as I do, you can get a hefty discount if someone else in your household also insures their car with them. Just had a quote and was £140 cheaper just because my brother is insured with them too. Madness!

Yep, they even class the cup packs on the 182 as a modification.

Nah, a few harsh comments and explanation to a supervisor and my policy reads as such
Manufacturer fitted non standard alloy wheels
Manufacturer fitted sport suspension
Front spoiler manufacturer fitted.
Boot roof spoiler manufacturer fitted.
Perlescant paint.

Charge £0. 23yr old 4NCB.

Was hard work I'll give you that!!:D

Just be careful of their 'discounts' When I renewed my escort last year, the lad said he could give me a discount on that as me and the wife are both with DL (was renewing both policies). He quoted me £150 less than my previous renewal. Paperwork arrived and he'd switched the drivers over (so wife was main driver of both - I didn't have full NCB then). So I had much fun on the phone to them trying to convince them to switch the drivers, and not charge me more, as the guy had sold me cover on the basis of me being main driver (they wanted the extra £150). Eventually spoke to a person in complaints dept who sorted it all out.
Must give them their due though... couldn't be beaten on price when I renewed this time...
