This is the start for my 175 Dci Meggy.
Had it a few weeks and love it but i have now decided to spend some cash on it to get it to a decent standard.
After a few weeks owner ship i found a few issues with it so decided to start sorting them out.
The number plate lights where very very badly corroded and full of water and the loom as also bad so bought the loom along with LED number plate lights.
First up was the Radio signal on any local or UK station was very very poor and there was a lot of white noise so i bought a new ariel base/ loom and got that fitted.
Once that was fitted the back wheels came off to do the brakes and our suspicions where correct and the car had full eibach springs with Renault part numbers.
On the MOT that was done in Jan 2016 there was an Advisory of rear discs and pads and they where bad.
I managed to get myself some fresh rebuilt & powder coated calipers, with new pistons and seals.
I went for the Genuine discs & pads and the drilled version.
The front brembos will be getting fully refurbished and genuine pads and drilled discs will be going on the front in due course.
Next up was to plug the CAN Clip into the car and check it for faults, There was a fault which came up and that was "Boost Pressure Sensor" so this would explain why there is no power for a split second so the car is booked in to get a genuine one fitted as its an aftermarket cheap one thats on it, Along when getting that fitted its in for a full coolant flush and fresh coolant.
Spotted these for the car so thought it would be very rude not to buy them.
A set of Recaro's for the Meg at a cool price of £350, there is 2 small rips around an inch long on the drivers bolster but I'm looking to either get it repaired or to just throw a recaro seat cover over it.
A good clean and then to get them fitted.
