Disable Passenger Airbag

Anyone know how to disable the passenger airbag in a 172 so you can put a baby seat in the car? Renault say its possible (and easy) but they arent allowed to do it because its a modification.

is there not a key in the inside door handle?!

Yep there is a key hole on the inside left door handle. The manual tells you how to disable the air bag

If its a Mk1 172 you dont get the key option to disable the passenger airbag.

Dont know if it can be disabled some other way..

pull the fuse out???? itll disable all the airbags but, i hate the bloody things anyway!!!

if u open the passenger door there should be a little plastic panel next to the glove compartment and if u remove it, it might say in there.

Yup, its a Mk1, so you dont get the option bulit in. Thanks for the suggestions though.
