Where does this connect to???

  Renault clio
I've an MOT due on my 2006 Renault Clio Campus MK2 and the Serv & airbag lights are lit on my dashboard. I recently removed the seats as I had to deep clean the carpets due to a leak. I've put everything back but for the life of me I can't see where this clips into?? I know it's from a seat belt pre tensioner but can't remember where it goes. Could anyone send a pic or describe please?

I believe that attaches to the sliding rail to tell the airbag module where the seat is positioned. How you fit it back though I cannot answer.

I believe you're right but it's not obvious where it clips into. I've had the seat out earlier to see it it goes in there somewhere but no. I'm hoping someone can post a pic so I can see where?

Check your other seat see how is mounted there i case you have this on both of them or usually stuff that was bolted there leaves some tiny marks and you can figure out how to rearrange it back ...

Hi
Thanks for the pic, I have a cable running to my seatbelt and the light goes out once depressed. What I'll do is put a pic up of the whole pre-tensioner to see if it jogs anyone's memory.

I have the same switch hanging out and haven’t found a home for it. I’ve been told the switch housing is broken though.

We share the same pain Matt. I want to avoid having to call a mechanic to my home but it's been infuriating not to be able to figure out where it goes.

It doesn’t affect driving or airbag lights so I’m just going to carry on regardless. It’s right at the bottom of the list of priorities.

The seat rail is made of 2 parts upper and lower one , this switch sits on outside of upper part with that metal bracket touching the lower seat rail , the lower seat rail has some small dents where the round parts of that metal bracket rest when you move the seat forward or backward . The upper part of seat rail should be a hole where this switch needs to go in , regarding wires they are just put as best as they can be as long they don t touch anything in there . If you remove the seat from seat rails i think is easy to see where everything goes in i know it a seat out but hopefully fixes your issue .

I've found out where it goes but unsure where the little metal clip with the groove on clips into. Does the whole clip stand upright or go in on it's side? Space is very cramped and I can't quite see in the photo's. Thanks

I think that metal clip goes inside , the lower seat rail has some tiny holes spaced at a certain distance, that what i see on my car .
