Display question

I hope this hasn't been asked before (i did have a quick seach). If I change the standard head unit for an aftermarket model will the dash display still show time and outside temperature? (im guessing it will). Im not too bothered about getting the display and stalk adapters but dont want to loose that the display completely.

yes mate it's completely different...If you have steering wheel controls you'll need to get the adaptor to fit otherwise they won't work.

Like i said, im not too fussed about the steering wheel controls its just the display im bothered about. Dont want to loose time and temperature display.
