Disposing of oil

Ive got a 5l sealed container of used oil...

where do i take it to get rid of it?

Local refuse site usually has somewhere.

I take mine to the local tip as they have disposal thing there for it.

As said I take it up the local tip, they've got a specific bit for you to leave oil and batteries etc.
