DIY flocking kits

I have recently used a black kit on my a pillars. the result is pretty good tbh but up against a flocked a pillar that someone has had done professionally you do notice a difference. I have just done my dash as well but it hasn't really turned out to well, if you don't use enough adhesive it will turn out patchy (really not a good look) but you do get a huge amount of flock in the bag you get but it does take practice.

I used a similar kit, when I did mine I used the bath to catch all the flock. Results was "ok" as it was for the race car, may not live up to show queen standards though.
The empty bottle is sued to fill the flock half way and you must squeeze the bottle so the flock ends hit the the surface and stick up. This was the first time I had flocked anything, with some practice im sure it would look spot on.
