DIY turbo conversion

Hi! Im putting my clio to garage little bit closer to winter, as it's my track car.... And I'm thinking how hard can be putting meg 225 engine/head and pistons or low blow turbo kit? I'm not mechanic, but can hold spanner worst thing is that I haven't got special tools e.g. engine crane. Maybe its time to start completing parts... What you think?

It's been done, but not very common so I doubt it's totally straightforward otherwise everyone would be at it.

IIRC there's issues with the gearbox?

I found thread... 56 pages! I know it all will be interesting for sure, but Any ideas when should I start reading today I found out that sdworks doing diy kits for 1600.... Maybe thats an option?

Isn't Clio turbo Doing a stage 1 kit fitted and mapped for less than £2500?

If that deal is still on its a no brainier
